For over 50 years, a racial war has raged between humanity and demons. In an era where military systems were primitive, mercenaries were the primary force for both sides. One day, the situation changed completely. Fearing their dependence on mercenaries, the demons began centralizing power through bloodlines and established a disciplined regular army. Humanity attempted to follow suit, but their centralization turned into tyranny, sparking a populist revolution. In a desperate bid for survival, humanity stoked the fires of racial nationalism to organize their own military. The battlefield was soon replaced by armies of discipline on the demon side and armies of nationalism on the human side. Mercenaries were being driven from the theater of war. This is the final tale of the mercenaries who founded a nation.
