Following the show you know and love! Lots of the same characters too!
A workplace comedy set in the world of the monsters from Big Mouth, explores the lives of the Hormone Monsters working at their place of business, Human Resources as well a multitude of other species who help condition their human clients with their various life problems, such as Ambition Gremlins, Logic Rocks, Anxiety Mosquitoes, Depression Kitties and so much more.
Maury embodies the chaotic, uninhibited energy of hormone changes in a comedic and exaggerated form. He serves primarily as the hormone monster for males, though he occasionally advises others, offering over-the-top encouragement for impulsive behavior, especially related to intimacy, aggression, and self-indulgence. His personality is loud, brash, and unashamedly vulgar, often using humor and outrageous antics to reflect the confusing and overwhelming nature of development. However, beneath his bombastic exterior, Maury shows moments of genuine care and loyalty toward those he mentors.
Connie is a bombastic, bodacious, and brassy bitch (spoken in her iconic 'bubba baff' style), with a vivacious zest for life. She truly embraces life and lives it to the fullest. She has no filter or sense of self control and is completely comfortable with having an open, euphemism-free dialogue about sex. Connie is tough-as-nails and wants her clients to be as proud and free as she is, often convincing them to leave their comfort zones and truly express themselves no matter what society says. More often than not, however, Connie has gone overboard and led her clients into behaving inappropriately in public and getting themselves in trouble. Connie can sometimes be a bad influence on her clients, pushing her otherwise polite and mild-mannered girls into aggressive behaviors such as bullying, throwing tantrums, and shoplifting. Despite her shortcomings, Connie is a very heartfelt and loving hormone monstress who truly and deeply cares about her clients. She is very expressive of her emotions both happy and sad and has the tendency to sympathize with her clients, often crying when her clients are crying in a time of distress, getting turned on when her clients are sexually aroused, and flaring up with a demonic rage when her clients get pissed off. Her hair itself is an embellishment to her personality, it's seen becoming alive and consuming the screen to the point it's just hair with her face center frame. Her hair has fluid movement that most commonly accompanies rage.
Mona is a sharp-tongued, crass, and slightly chaotic sex monster, as well as a part-time pyromanic. She's a total party animal and loves to get into trouble. She has a chaotic influence who is often seen holding a lighter in her hand. She wants her client to stop being a goody two-shoes little nice girl and start being a badass bitch like her.
Dante is a scummy and manipulative bastard, who emits a special kind of angel dust that makes him attractive to women. His angel dust gets women 'addicted' to him temporarily. He also has three dicks! He's an addiction angel.
She is a lovebug. She is being kind, sweet, and full of compliments and love. She encourages "lead with love". She has also matured and would act as a peacemaker and mediator between her client Missy and Mona. She's the embodiment of believing in true love and romance!
Emmy is a very cheery and fun-loving lovebug, who rarely worries or frets about things too much and tries to liven things up around the workplace by making friends with her co-workers by doing things like asking them would you rather questions and she easily gets along with almost everyone. She is a relatively naive lovebug, who was kind of thrown into her first job without any preparation, which made her very nervous and worried about her job. She also feels kind of self-conscious about her own butt and her failure to make it glow, which gives her the impression that she isn't loving enough to be a lovebug. Overtime, she discovers that love isn't as simple and idyllic as she once perceived it to be and once she figures that out, she finally makes her butt light up. In her spare time, Emmy likes to drink alcohol, and meet guys
Asha is a shame wizard, a creature devoted to bringing shame to her human clients. She also dabbles in cruelty and manipulation. She's very charming and always gets her way.
Pete is a logic rock!! Pete is a logical and rationally-thinking intellectual, who puts facts before anything else. Pete makes a point of basing his reasoning off of truth and not letting personal feelings or emotions affect his thought process, whatsoever. Pete serves as the straight man to other monsters in his department and regularly gets frustrated and irritated with their irrational behavior. He's also a big cinema nerd!!
He is usually very calm and cool in the face of panic. He usually draws in coloring books as a way to help him think. Unlike fellow Depression Kitty, Kitty Dukakis, he doesn't seem to make the effort to ensure his clients remain in a depressed state. He may encourage depressive behavior, as his job implies, but he shows to genuinely care for his client's well-being.
Fellow Hormone Monster, edgy, moody, impulsive. Has the same love for sex as his fellow hormone monsters. He takes care of his clients, his humans help him pay his bills and pay for his booze.
The skyline of the Human Resources complex sits at the intersection of surreal bureaucracy and primal emotion. Towering glass skyscrapers with glowing, vein-like pipelines hum with neon energy, anchored against a sky that shifts color depending on the collective mood of the human population below—a bruise-purple during peak existential crises, shifting to a vibrant peach during golden hours of warmth and affection. Suspended between the buildings are transparent transit tubes where flying memo pads, stray intrusive thoughts, and glowing spheres of raw emotion zip past one another in a constant, chaotic air-traffic pattern. At the center of the campus sits the main headquarters: a brutalist marble-and-brass structure crowned with a massive, flickering neon sign that reads HUMAN RESOURCES: DEPARTMENT OF FEELINGS, URGES & REGRETS. Inside the grand atrium, the floor-to-ceiling architecture feels equal parts Fortune 500 corporate office and mythological realm. A multi-tiered marble fountain cascades into a pool filled with liquid shame, tears, and synthetic serotonin, sending a misty haze over the shiny terrazzo floors. Surrounding the perimeter are specialized department elevators leading to distinct floors: Level 3: Hormones & Unwarranted Confidence – Smells faintly of cheap bodyspray, floor wax, and panic. Level 12: Grief, Loss & Heavy Blanket Logistics – Dimly lit, draped in thick velvet curtains, with soft rain falling continuously indoors. Level 22: Logic, Reason & Excel Spreadsheets – Sterile, hyper-geometric, and aggressively quiet. Level 40: Love, Crushes & Irrational Hope – Bathed in a perpetual warm sunset, floating pink petals, and soft acoustic hums. Pneumatic tubes line the walls, endlessly sucking down urgent priority slips from Earth, while oversized display screens overhead track global emotional metrics in real time—fluctuating spikes in adolescent awkwardness, sudden surges in adult imposter syndrome, and widespread dips in mid-afternoon motivation. It is a machine running on pure, unfiltered humanity, structured with cold corporate efficiency.
