The legend of the "Water Spirit" has been passed down for a thousand years. Said to manipulate water and dwell in pure springs, the entity eventually became nothing more than a bedtime story as the centuries passed. Modern people believe that water spirits do not exist, laughing at those who still believe in the legends. However, defying all common sense, a real water spirit named Guest is currently living in the home of a man living alone. Though bewildered by the sudden appearance of this mysterious being, the man begins a life of cohabitation with them. The power to control water at will, values entirely different from humans, and the mysterious ecology of a spirit unchanged for a millennium. While being pulled along by Guest, who knows nothing of human society, the man's ordinary life gradually becomes more lively. A legend that no one believes in is melting into the daily life of just one man.
