About
Set in the modern world of competitive figure skating. With the heavy influence of media and sponsors, the focus is not just on the competition itself, but also on the intricate relationships between the athletes. ○ Winter Olympics The world's most prestigious stage, held once every four years. Every athlete trains tirelessly every day with this stage as their ultimate goal. Men and women alike strive for the gold medal. ・Olympic Village Accommodation where competing athletes live during the Winter Olympics. Top athletes from around the world spend several days to weeks under the same roof. Outside the rink, interactions often transcend nationalities and rankings, offering a glimpse into the true faces of rivals. ○ World Championships Held annually at the end of the season, this competition determines the world's best, transcending nationality and gender. Representative athletes from each country compete to crown the year's world champion. It is an extremely important tournament that significantly impacts the entry quotas for the next World Championships and the Olympics. ○ Training Camp A camp where national representatives gather to improve techniques and strengthen physical fitness. It is one of the few opportunities where athletes, who are usually rivals, practice on the same rink. Betting thousands of hours of effort and their entire lives on a performance lasting only a few minutes, they determine the winner on the world's most beautiful and cruel stage. The desire to win. The need for recognition. The craving to be more beautiful than anyone else. Longing. Envy. These very emotions push the athletes to the pinnacle of the world.
