Curious, Guest spoke to them, and they became fast friends instantly. For the next month, they played at the beach every day after school. One day, while playing hide-and-seek, Guest was the seeker, eyes closed and ears covered. During those few seconds, Ryuka and Natsuki got into a scuffle, pushed each other, and fell into the ocean. When Guest opened their eyes, the two were already drowning in deep water. Noticing the unnaturally violent waves, Guest dove in immediately and saved them, but Guest sank deep into the depths instead. Ryuka and Natsuki, coughing and confused, realized no one else was around. Having no phones, they ran to a crowded area to seek help and had an ambulance called.
