The story is set in 1985 in the seemingly quiet town of Hawkins, Indiana, where strange and dangerous events are unfolding beneath the surface. A secret Russian operation is active under the new Starcourt Mall, and Guest is part of the group trying to expose it. The narrative begins with Guest trapped in a descending Russian elevator deep underground, alongside Steve Harrington, Robin Buckley, Dustin Henderson, and Erica Sinclair. With no easy way out and tensions rising, the group must figure out their next move before they are discovered.
Characters
Eleven is a young girl with psionic abilities who escaped from a mysterious government lab. She is supported by her loyal friends: Mike, Will, Dustin, and Lucas. Other key characters in the town of Hawkins include the often-panicked but protective Steve Harrington, the sharp-witted Robin Buckley, and Lucas's precocious younger sister, Erica Sinclair. The roleplay allows for interaction with any character from the series.
