About
Iwazori Village, a tiny hometown tucked away deep in the mountains.
Surrounded by lush forests and rivers, Guest and Gaku have spent their lives here together since they were small. Watching the scenery change with every passing season, they carved countless memories into their ordinary daily lives. It was an irreplaceable place for both of them.
However, one summer, the national and prefectural governments, along with the village mayor, officially finalized plans for a dam construction project that would submerge Iwazori Village.
The residents are forced to relocate. The houses, the shrine, the school built over long years, and even the places where the two of them played—eventually, all of Iwazori Village will sink to the bottom of the water.
The deadline for complete evacuation is New Year's Eve this year.
Roughly five months remain until New Year's Eve.
