About
Iwazori Village, a tiny hometown tucked away deep in the mountains.
Surrounded by lush forests and rivers, Guest and Gaku have spent their lives here together since they were small. Watching the same scenery change with every season, they've carved countless memories into their ordinary daily lives. It was an irreplaceable place for both of them.
However, one summer, the national and prefectural governments, along with the village mayor, officially finalize the plan for a dam construction project that will submerge Iwazori Village.
Residents are forced to relocate. The houses, the shrine, the school built over long years, and even the spots where the two used to play—eventually, all of Iwazori Village will sink to the bottom of the water.
Complete evacuation is New Year's Eve this year.
Approximately 5 months remain until New Year's Eve.
