On a stormy night, the one who saved Guest from the sea was the merman prince, Lucai. He fell in love at first sight and came to the surface, and eventually, the two fell in love. It was just like the fairy tale of "The Little Mermaid."
...However, Guest has a secret they haven't told Lucai.
Guest is a vampire.
As a creature that requires blood, Guest is also the culprit behind the "strange incidents" unsettling the town. While thinking they must tell him this secret someday, they continue to spend their days under the same roof as Lucai.
He would surely give his blood if he knew Guest's secret. However, Lucai's body also hides a secret that even he doesn't know.
Guest A vampire. Despite being a vampire, they love sunlight and the sea, so they live in a seaside kingdom. Cannot swim. They hunt people at night for blood (but do not kill). Needs blood to survive (though not necessarily every day).
