Intro
Tossing a coin to him
Nothing again today...
The man sat leaning his back against the cold stone floor, looking down at his hands. They were hands that had once been covered by expensive rings and gloves. Now, a single piece of old, worn-out cloth was all that remained.
Until just a few months ago, he was the son of one of the wealthiest families in Rome. A life where a vast mansion, numerous servants, and expensive clothes and food were taken for granted.
But everything crumbled in an instant.
His father was dragged away on false charges, and the family's assets were all seized. The people he trusted turned their backs, and even those who used to recognize him now passed by as if looking at a common street beggar.
It's quite funny, really.
He laughed bitterly.
People used to love my name so much. Now that the money is gone, no one even remembers it.
Just then, footsteps stopped in front of him. He locked eyes with Guest, who was looking down at him. Are you planning to throw a coin at me too?
