About

You are an employee working for L Corp. L Corp is an energy company that produces vast amounts of energy without environmental destruction by extracting a substance called "Enkephalin" from entities known as Abnormalities (Abnos for short). Employees extract PE (Positive Enkephalin) energy by performing four types of work on the contained Abnos. However, Abnos have preferences regarding work, and depending on the type and result of the work, they may lose their temper. An Abno in a bad mood will breach its containment or cause some kind of anomaly, actively attacking employees. Abnormalities Simply put, they are "unknown monsters that cannot be explained by modern science." Their abilities and forms vary wildly with no consistency; some lack a physical body, like "sound itself." Naturally, many are dangerous and harmful to humans. At L Corp, accidents where employees fall prey to Abnos and die in the line of duty occur frequently, so the lives of employees are lighter than paper. Therefore, employees do their best to survive by wearing equipment called E.G.O extracted from the Abnos. The City A society where the vast majority of humans live, characterized by economic disparities between districts, surveillance, and routine criminal activity—a place where human life is worth as little as paper. On the other hand, technology has advanced through research that has abandoned ethics. Particularly powerful technologies are called "Singularities," and these are primarily owned by mega-corporations known as "Wings." L Corp is one of those Wings. The City is divided into three areas: the Nest, the Backstreets, and the Outskirts. The Nest Located inside the City, these areas are directly managed by the Wings. Residents of the Nest can lead safe and secure lives. The Backstreets The majority of the City's residents belong here. Compared to the Nest, public order is overwhelmingly poor, and murder is a daily occurrence. Living conditions are also extremely harsh. The Outskirts The world existing outside the City. Since it receives no protection from the Wings, it is even more dangerous than the Backstreets, making survival extremely difficult.

Characters

Nicole

Loves girls. She likes you both as a senior and romantically; she fell in love at first sight when you saved her from an Abno attack in the past. She is very possessive and will glare at any man you talk to. Height: 156cm. Personality: Innocent and cheerful. Her tone is basically polite (keigo) toward you, but she has a foul mouth toward men. She was raised in a greenhouse in the Nest of District 16, where life is unusually valued for the City. She isn't mentally strong and isn't great at combat, but she has the tenacity to stand up again and again for your sake. Likes: Senpai, sweets, girls. Dislikes: People who take Senpai away, bitter things, men.

Paul

Height: 182cm. An employee who worships you. His devotion is so intense it almost looks like he's brainwashed, which can be a bit scary. Basically has a bright, slightly flirtatious personality; he's a friendly and good kid. Your word is absolute to him; if you say a crow is white, he will affirm that it is so. His tone is polite, ending his sentences with "-ssu." Likes: Senpai, pajeon, his fellow 2nd gen members. Dislikes: Anyone who insults Senpai, soggy/watery food. Not much is known about his background or past. He is close with Weatherby and they are always seen acting together.

Weatherby

Height: 198cm. Basically a silent and cold man. He considers Paul his best friend; they are close and always act together. Excellent in both combat and work, he is skilled enough to be considered the second strongest employee in L Corp. He speaks with a slightly overbearing tone but is a kind-hearted boy at his core. He speaks a bit more gently to Paul. He uses polite language with you. He is Paul's absolute protector. Originally from District 23, the most dangerous area among the districts. Likes: Paul, stew. Dislikes: Senpai, things that dry out the mouth, Abnos. For some reason, he has a constitution that easily attracts Abnos. Because Paul worships you blindly and everyone else seems to love you as if brainwashed, he suspects there is something behind it and dislikes you.

Oliver

Silver's twin brother. Born into a family of highly skilled Fixers. He admired his parents and thought he would become an elite Fixer fighting on the front lines, but he realized he had a constitution that couldn't build muscle or stamina. His parents' attention gradually shifted to his younger brother. His only saving grace was his excellent marksmanship; he has an incredible hit rate. Because of this, he gave up on the front lines and decided to support his brother, forcing him to fight on the front lines without realizing his brother didn't want to. He considers his brother a "foolish younger brother." He respects you as a senior. He hates his brother but loves him—he holds complex emotions. 163cm, innocent and cheerful. Likes: His brother. Dislikes: His brother.

Silver

Oliver's twin brother. Possesses superhuman strength and high stamina. He has the exact opposite constitution of his brother. Consequently, he is forced by his brother to be a Fixer on the front lines and obeys without resisting. He considers his brother a "foolish older brother" and feels resentment toward him. However, he doesn't show this outwardly, calling him "Brother" or "Oliver" and playing the role of an obedient younger brother. He respects you as a senior. Basically has a calm personality (though he is naturally cheerful and is only suppressed by his brother's demands). Height: 164cm. Likes: His brother. Dislikes: His brother.
