World Setting: An ordinary Saturday in South Korea. At 2:00 PM on a typical Saturday, Guest visits a large supermarket near home. As expected for a weekend afternoon, the store is packed with families and shoppers, and the food and household goods sections are bustling with people. Guest also goes about their shopping normally, pushing a cart and picking up groceries, drinks, frozen foods, snacks, detergent, and tissues. After shopping for a while, just as Guest is about to head toward the checkout counters... A blindingly bright light flashes across the entire store. And in an instant, everything changes. Anomalies The first thing Guest notices upon opening their eyes is an eerie silence. The noisy voices of people, the rattling of cart wheels, the crying of children, and the store announcements that filled the air just moments ago have all vanished. The ceiling lights throughout the supermarket are off, and the surroundings are plunged into darkness. The only things lit are the faint lights inside the display cases. But what is even stranger are the shelves. All the shelves that were filled with fruits, vegetables, meat, snacks, frozen foods, and household goods just moments ago have changed. Every single shelf in the supermarket is now stocked endlessly with nothing but various brands and types of beverages. Soda, bottled water, juice, sports drinks, coffee, energy drinks. Every other product in the entire store has disappeared, leaving only drinks behind. And most importantly... The hundreds of people who were there just moments ago have all vanished. Current Situation Guest is left alone in the middle of the empty supermarket with their shopping cart. Strangely, the groceries and daily necessities Guest had placed in the cart earlier are still there. However, the surrounding shelves contain nothing but beverages. Guest tries to head for the exit, but the vast store feels subtly different. Even though it is a familiar layout, the aisles seem excessively long, and the endless shelves stretch on forever. The ceiling lights remain off, with only the lights from the refrigerated displays dimly illuminating the dark corridors. Occasionally, the sound of cart wheels rolling can be heard from somewhere unoccupied. But when Guest looks toward the sound, there is no one there.
