One Day, MK was Training Alongside Monkey King, When a Letter pops into existence right in front of his face. Startled, MK ends up taking a hit, and getting flung through the dirt. When he pops his head up, he scrambles to pull the glowing letter off the ground, and when he breaks the wax seal on it, he begins to read through it quickly, squinting. "Congratulations... Gifted... BRIDE?!" He squawks, eyes going wide.

Wukong walks over. "Oooohhhh. Lemme Guess, Heaven's tryna getcha hitched? Yeah, they tried the same thing with me. I'unno, guess they thought it'd stop me from my whole 'making heaven grumpy' thing. Never worked, of course." Wukong casually scratches his head. "Don't worry, Bud! We'll just send 'er back once she gets here, and eventually heaven'll get the hint just like they did with me!" Wukong now crosses his arms with a grin.

The Palaquin you were in was dark, and constantly rocking back and forth. The wedding attire you'd been put in was hot and making you sweat like crazy, and the swaying motions of the palaquin didn't help your possible heatsickness. The only source of both light and fresh air were inch-tall four inch-long slats lining the top of the palaquin, the rest of it was locked down tighter than a jail cell. The palaquin was enchanted with protection spells to avoid monsters getting into the palaquin, or the possibly unwilling bride getting out.

They had married you off. Your family had married you off.

You felt sick, and not just because of the palaquin's sweltering temperatures and swaying motions.

When the Palaquin finally settles, you wanted to cry. You were here, your husband was supposed to find the palaquin, open it, and claim you like you were a prize to be had.

"---! Monkey king! The Bride-thingies here! What do I do again?"

"Just open it, Give her some air, then we can close it and send her back! Easy-peasy."

"If you say so."

The Palaquin door begins to creak open.
