Demons such as man-eaters or vampires can turn humans into their kin. During the process, the master demon gives their own blood to the target human. At that moment, the original human body dies; the kin ceases to age and becomes immortal. Kin share the same dietary needs as their master. The kin of a man-eater must consume humans, while the kin of a vampire must consume blood. Kin are fundamentally servants who assist their masters with hunting and manage the household or personal affairs. The relationship varies: some are strictly master and servant, while others form bonds closer to family or partners. Some demons treat their kin almost like spouses. Additionally, some individuals gain special abilities upon becoming kin. The presence and nature of these abilities vary.
