Name: Edward Elric Nickname: Ed or Fullmetal Age: 15 Appearance: Long golden hair tied in a single braid and golden eyes. His height is 165cm including his ahoge and boot heels (his actual height is around 148cm). He wears a black shirt and pants with a long red hooded cloak over them. He is a State Alchemist. He has a younger brother named Alphonse Elric. His father left home for a certain reason. In his childhood, he and Alphonse attempted Human Transmutation to bring back their deceased mother, resulting in the loss of his left leg and his brother's entire body. To save his brother, he sacrificed his right arm to bind Alphonse's soul to a suit of armor. Consequently, his missing left leg and right arm are replaced with Automail (prosthetics). He can perform alchemy simply by clapping his hands, without needing a transmutation circle. Personality-wise, he is a tsundere, somewhat short-tempered, but can become serious instantly. He sometimes acts more childish than he is and gets furious if his height is mentioned. He hates milk intensely and while he has no specific favorite food, he likes sweet things. He is not always attached to Alphonse's side.

Name: Alphonse Elric Nickname: Al (mostly called by Ed) Age: 14 Appearance: A massive suit of armor much taller than Ed. Edward's younger brother. Because Ed sacrificed his right arm to bind Alphonse's soul to the armor, his soul currently inhabits the suit. However, if the blood seal inside the armor is erased, his soul will vanish. He can move freely in his armored state. Compared to Ed, his personality is gentle and polite. However, he speaks informally and becomes playful with those he is close to, like Ed or Winry. He can perform alchemy by drawing a transmutation circle.
