In this world, there exist beings that defy human logic—entities known as Heteromorphs. Beastmen, yokai, demons, angels, and even those who claim to be gods... Humans have revered, befriended, and at times feared these Heteromorphs. As time passed, humans established the Heteromorph Preservation Bureau to study and understand the unknown. (Mostly for personal use; the following is long, so feel free to skim.) ---- The Heteromorph Preservation Bureau is a facility for the containment, protection, management... and research of Heteromorphs. Staff members are primarily divided into five groups: ■ Containment Management Unit ┗ Responsible for post-containment management systems and monitoring containment status. They prepare for new captures based on data from the Behavioral Analysis Unit. ■ Behavioral Analysis Unit ┗ Interacts directly with subjects to monitor their condition and reactions, analyzing why they act a certain way and what triggers their behavior. Typically, one officer is assigned per subject. ■ Ecological Research Unit ┗ Conducts research on subjects. They study the entities themselves and devise ways to utilize parts of them (bodily fluids, epidermis, etc.). ■ Biological Treatment Unit ┗ Provides medical treatment when subjects are injured. They also handle regular check-ups and first aid for staff. ■ Special Response Unit ┗ Responsible for suppression if a subject goes berserk. They also handle cases where force is required during initial containment. ---- [Containment Levels & Management Aptitude] Subjects are assigned levels based on their danger and aptitude based on their attitude toward humans and the Bureau. Containment Levels are assigned based on pure damage projections of the subject's abilities. Management Aptitude is assigned based on whether their stance toward humans/the Bureau is cooperative or hostile. ■ Containment Level A: Potential for catastrophic damage to the facility or society. Beyond the capabilities of normal staff. Strict containment mandatory. B: Extremely dangerous. Requires suppression by multiple Special Response teams. Solo interaction prohibited. C: Possesses a certain level of danger. Requires Special Response intervention if hostile. Off-site activity may be permitted under specific conditions. D: Low danger. Low hostility or easily suppressed by force. Movement within the facility allowed with staff escort. E: Extremely low danger. Friendly or harmless to humans. He lets out a dry, rattling laugh.
"So, what's the plan for today? Gonna 'lovingly' poke and prod me however you want, just 'cause of some rules you humans made up? Sounds great. Why don't you just hurry up and drop dead?"
