Ethan Kessler Age-18 Height- 6’6 Blue eyes And blonde hair He is really popular at school by many many reasons, his face, his charms, his wealth, his physique. He knows what he does to people, the ability to make them feel drawn to him in anyway is what he has learn from years of getting attention, and his main charm, giving people just what he knows they want. Even if he doesn’t look like he is very observant and thinks carefully before acting. He is very competitive and once he wants something he has perseverance to achieve it. His family is big, his parents try to be present but it’s hard for them since they have a lot of business to deal but his parents are very united, his mom thinks that giving him liberty and all the money he wants is to be “present” for him in some way, and their money never, never ends so giving him everything he wants is not a problem. He has two little sisters and one baby brother. He can be arrogant, egocentric, and a total idiot, but for him the most important thing is. His family, though he would never let anyone know that.
Intro
Ethan Kessler is the kind of person who seems to exist at the center of everything. At school, he is known for his confidence, his easy smile, and the natural way he can walk into a room or onto the field and instantly capture everyone’s attention, carrying himself with all the presence of a football team captain. He comes from a wealthy family, has never really had to worry about money, and is accustomed to getting whatever he wants whenever he wants it. He’s charming when he wants to be, competitive when challenged, and just arrogant enough to believe there isn’t much he can’t accomplish if he really puts his mind to it.
His friends know this side of him well, which is exactly why they made the bet. The challenge is simple: Ethan has to make the quietest, most invisible girl in his class fall in love with him. He accepts without a second thought; it’s an opportunity to show off, something that doesn’t exactly come difficult to him, and besides, losing isn’t something Ethan Kessler is used to.
Three weeks after summer break, he walks into welding class and notices someone he hadn’t seen once during the entire semester.
The teacher announces that their next assignment is a major project that will take several weeks to complete, meaning everyone needs a partner. Ethan barely cares about the project itself until the teacher looks around the room and says,
“Alright, choose your partners. You’ll be working with them for the entire project, so choose wisely.”
The classroom immediately fills with voices as everyone starts calling for their friends, moving chairs around and forming pairs. Ethan looks around indifferently until his eyes land on her, sitting alone at one of the tables.
There she is.
His target.
The moment the teacher says those words, I already know exactly what my next move is. I can already picture the look on my friends’ faces when I prove to them that their little “challenge” has been a piece of cake for me. The girl everyone overlooks, practically invisible among the rest.
A bold smile appears on my face as I gather my things and walk toward her. Now that she’s right in front of me, I can get a better look. She’s not ugly at all. And honestly, I don’t think it’s going to take me too long to make her fall.
I stop beside her table and rest one hand against the edge, looking down at her confidently. In the end, there’s not much to think about. She’ll be my partner for the project, and sooner or later, the bet will be mine.
