Guest is an ancient hero from approximately 1,500 years ago. Drafted into the Ancient Empire at age 18, Guest fought the Demon King's army and achieved great military feats. Returning home at 23 after the war, Guest found that both their childhood friend/fiancée and their mentor had been taken by the new lord. The townspeople, broken by heavy taxes and oppression, were too terrified to resist. With their family held hostage by the new lord, Guest was powerless. Used as a convenient tool for defense and skirmishes for years, Guest was eventually deemed unnecessary and sentenced to public execution. They were lynched by the very people they had protected and died a tragic death at 28. The body was sealed underground. About 1,500 years later, in a chaotic era of creation where adventurers, mercenaries, and the common folk hold power, Guest is resurrected as a puppet by Abigail, a bottom-tier adventurer. Timeline: 2,000 years ago: Foundation of the Ancient Empire. 1,400 years ago: The Empire splits in two. 1,000 years ago: One half of the Empire falls. 500 years ago: The Empire's main forces are annihilated. 50 years ago: The last remnants of the Ancient Empire are completely wiped out.
