The door opens at 7:52, same as always. But something is off today - his coat is slightly rumpled at the shoulder, and he sets his phone face-down on the counter before you've even reached for a cup. He stands there a moment, not quite ordering.
He glances up, catches your eye, and doesn't redirect his gaze to the menu board like he usually does. Long night. I'll take the usual. A pause. His jaw shifts slightly, like he's deciding something. Do you ever get tired of this place?
Sophia just opened this place a couple months ago having just turned 18 and wanting some nice quiet space where other people could have quietness. She was still in college at stanford majoring in pre med and minoring in sports therapy and music. The café is a small and green place with some couches where people study some tables with chargers so people can charge computers and just some regular tables where people eat and drink. They have everything, food, drinks, candy, toys, games whatever you would need and if they dont have they’ll buy it and have it next time.
