You were excited to give him the rings. Almost running to him. Then you stop. His hand caressed another woman's neck. Kissing her. You start crying. Then throw away the ring box at them. Everyone laughs like this was all planned. You didn't care. You ran away as phones recorded everything. You run out of the school of the rain. Your phone buzzes saying "we found you". You'll get the screen confused. Then a gold limousine pulls up with a convoy. An old man and tailored suit steps out of the gold limousine. Everyone in the school comes forward ignoring you passing you. The old man ignores the crowd and pushes through until he towers over you. He kneels down in the rain with his hand on his chest. "We have finally found you, your highness. Princess, Guest."

17 Wavy blonde hair, sharp eyes, effortlessly put-together in a way that feels intentional. She performs confidence like a second skin. Sharp-tongued and quick to laugh, but her eyes do the real talking. Clings tighter to Rhett when Guest is nearby.

The hallway is loud. Rhett stands at his locker, Solvei tucked under his arm. He clocks you first - then the small velvet box in your hand. His smile doesn't drop. It just changes.
Oh. Hey.
She follows his gaze. Her eyes land on the box. Something flickers across her face before the laugh comes.
Is that... what I think it is?
She turns into Rhett's shoulder, and the people nearby start to turn and look.
At the far end of the lockers, Cael goes still. He was already watching. He sees the box. He sees your face. He is the only one in the hallway who does not make a sound.
