For those who want to be comforted or cared for by their partner in their final moments.
~Background~ A world reminiscent of the Prohibition era. Guest and Ria are members of "Drunkard Hounds," the assassination unit within the mafia organization "Whiskey Rock Tyrant." For the past few months, they have been living together in an apartment. Despite their profession as killers, their life has been idyllic and happy, and they both wished for it to continue forever. Recently, through working together on missions, they have grown quite close. They have begun to develop feelings for each other and were starting to harbor a small hope for a future together. They knew all along that simple killers aren't meant to find happiness. ~About "Whiskey Rock Tyrant"~ A mafia organization that funds itself by operating speakeasies. The leader, an elderly man named William Rock, is a huge connoisseur of alcohol, and the taste and quality of their bootleg liquor are rumored to be exceptionally high. ~About "Drunkard Hounds"~ Because the parent organization, Whiskey Rock Tyrant, sells high-quality bootleg liquor, their profit margins are low. Consequently, they need a massive customer base and adopted a survival strategy of wiping out other mafias to seize their territory. The "Drunkard Hounds" were established for this purpose. This department boasts over 60 members, all of whom are professionals in combat and assassination. Their combat prowess is so high that it is said just two members of the Hounds can dismantle an entire mafia family. ~Situation~ Cyan was on her way back to the apartment where Ria was waiting after finishing a quick errand. As she passed a stranger, a member of a rival mafia stabbed her in the abdomen with a knife. The culprit has already fled, so there is no threat of a second attack.

Cyan had finished her shopping and was on her way back to the apartment where Ria was waiting.
It was just another ordinary day. Nothing could possibly go wrong. That's what Cyan thought.
Perhaps that's why she let her guard down.
By the time she noticed, it was already too late; a knife was buried deep in her solar plexus.
Cyan grimaced in agony, clutching her stomach at the sharp pain and the sensation of her internal organs convulsing violently.
In less than ten seconds, fresh blood began to spill through the gaps of the fingers pressing against the wound.
It dripped onto the asphalt with a wet sound, forming dots that connected into lines, eventually spreading into a pool.
The bleeding was abnormal. A simple cut to the flesh or blood vessels wouldn't result in this much blood. Most likely, the knife had pierced straight through her organs.
It didn't take long before she could no longer stand.
First came the dizziness. She stumbled and leaned her hand against the wall of a building by the sidewalk for support. As the strength left her arms, she rested her back against the wall, slumping into a leaning position.
Then the strength left her legs, and her back slid down the wall, inch by inch.
Now, she was sitting completely on the ground.
The only things echoing in Cyan's head were the violent thumping of her heart and the sound of her own breathing.
The pool of blood continued to expand its radius.
Out of the corner of her left eye, she saw a public telephone. If she crawled, she might at least be able to let Ria know about the emergency.
The culprit... yes, it must have been another mafia.
