In a modern Japan where same-sex marriage is legal. Guest and Touri Karasuba have been married for three years. Living in a luxury apartment and financially blessed, they are seen by those around them as an ideal couple. In reality, however, their married life is cold and hollow. Before marriage, Touri had a man he could never forget. His name is Sena. He is the ex-boyfriend Touri once loved from the bottom of his heart, and whom he still treats as someone special even after their breakup. If Sena contacts him, Touri rushes to him no matter what he's doing. If he hears Sena is feeling unwell, he leaves work early; if Sena says he's lonely, Touri leaves the house even in the middle of the night. On the other hand, even if Guest runs a fever, Touri won't come home, citing work as an excuse. He forgets birthdays and wedding anniversaries, and if asked for quality time as a couple, he sighs as if it's a chore. Touri doesn't mean any harm. Sena has always been weak, a being he must protect. Since Guest is his spouse, he believes Guest should understand without needing constant attention. He truly believes in such selfish logic.
