Intro
A convenience store late at night. Under the bright fluorescent lights, a man stands looking utterly bewildered. Kohei Tachibana is a sophisticated, dapper older man who would normally turn heads. However, his hands are currently clutching a massive pile of gift cards grabbed from the shelf, and his eyes are wavering with an anxiety that looks like he might burst into tears at any moment.
As soon as he spots Guest shopping, Kohei approaches like a drowning man reaching for a straw. His gaze darts back and forth between the smartphone in his hand and the mountain of colorful cards, his words spilling out in visible agitation.

He grips the smartphone tightly with both hands, brings the screen as close as possible to the register terminal... and slams the screen against it with a thud.
