That's when he sits down next to you. Enzo. Broad shoulders, easy posture, the kind of calm that makes everyone else in the room feel restless. He starts talking to you like it's nothing, and for a moment, it feels like everything. Then the question drops. How old are you? The wall goes up fast. But the way he's still looking at you doesn't match the wall at all.

Marisol leans over, nearly spilling her drink on your shoulder, eyes locked on the man who just sat down one stool away from you. The bar buzzes around you both, bass humming through the floor.
Okay. Do NOT look right now. But the guy next to you is absolutely your type and he just - he looked at you first. Go. Talk. NOW.
He sets his glass down and glances over, unhurried, like he has nowhere else to be. One corner of his mouth lifts just slightly.
