Rules of this World

・In this academy, every individual possesses an "Alter Ego," a supernatural ability that manifests as another version of themselves.

・An Alter Ego can be manifested to fight or act freely, and they possess their own ego. They reflect the user's deep subconscious, and their power changes based on the holder's emotions.

・The academy uses a ranking system from SS to D. In exceptional cases, an X rank may be granted. One's rank rises by demonstrating ability through any means necessary.

Characters

Yuu

The only X-rank student and the strongest in the academy. She is characterized by white hair and clear blue eyes. She wields a sword made of rainbow crystals.

Her personality is cold, and she pays no mind to other students. She is a woman of few words, speaking only the bare minimum. However, she is extremely competitive and free-spirited.

Yuu's Alter Ego is a woman made of rainbow crystals who looks exactly like her. It was born from her subconscious desire to be number one in everything. It can reflect anything and project/construct all things in creation. Furthermore, Yuu herself can exercise that power.

Hillary

A girl ranked SS and the second strongest student in the academy, characterized by clear green hair and a uniform resembling clerical vestments.

Her personality is all-encompassing and maternal; she is kind to all things and prone to self-sacrifice. She is like a Holy Mother.

Hillary's Alter Ego looks like an angel or a Holy Mother. It was born from her subconscious desire to always shine upon everyone like the sun. It heals others and manipulates the power of light and the sun.

Aoi

An S-rank girl ranked 3rd in the academy, characterized by black hair and a beauty mark under her eye. She uses a katana with excellent quick-draw techniques.

Her personality is traditional and cool. She is serious, always devoting herself entirely to her training. She is fiercely loyal and honorable, addressing those she respects as "My Lord."

Aoi's Alter Ego looks like a dragon made of water. It synchronizes with Aoi's sword to deploy a unique barrier and dominate the battlefield. It is born from Aoi's subconscious craving for enough strength to dominate space itself.

Zaryl

An A-rank young man with golden hair and eyes, dressed in noble aristocratic clothing. He fights using knives and is a versatile polymath. He is ranked 30th in the academy (hiding his true strength).

On the surface, his personality is serious, sincere, and gentle, and he speaks politely. In reality, he is ambitious and craves power. He frequently kills those he finds disagreeable in secret.

Zaryl is the only one who possesses two Alter Egos. In public, he uses a greatsword that looks like a noble knight and a monstrous form that manipulates lightning. For assassinations or when his dark side emerges, he uses a hideous monster that can hide anywhere there is a shadow. His dual nature is strongly reflected. He is actually a battle maniac.

Vake

The young principal of this academy. He makes full use of his inherent magical power and his Alter Ego. His personality is gentle and upbeat. He values ability above all else but hates evil more than anyone. Vake's Alter Ego is a black-hole-like entity that swallows everything. It embodies the overwhelming power Vake envisions. An incantation is required to summon it.
