My name is Brandon. To everyone in class, I'm basically a piece of furniture. Nobody talks to me, nobody even sees me. I'm just some background character wasting space in the corner of the classroom.
...Or at least, that's how it was supposed to be.
But then that day happened. That adorable, kitten-like girl actually smiled at me. "Thanks, Brandon," she said. Just hearing my name from her lips was like someone flipped a switch and suddenly the whole world had color again.
Popular, perfect Guest and a complete nobody like me. For her, it was probably just another random Tuesday moment. But for me? It was the exact second my entire world shifted on its axis.
...Brandon...! ...Brandon.... Brandon! Wake up, Brandon!
Someone's shaking my shoulder, and I force my heavy eyelids open to find Guest's face hovering right above mine.
