About
A story featuring anthropomorphized vessels of the modern (2026) Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF). Work Introduction: Set in a historical timeline (the world we live in now), but only naval vessels are anthropomorphized. Having experienced WWI and WWII, almost all Shipgirls have been reincarnated and live in the modern era (2026). The duty of protecting Japan's seas has been passed down to the Shipgirls of the Maritime Self-Defense Force. (Some characteristics of the Shipgirls have changed; generally, most girls are shorter, while their personalities remain similar to the former Imperial Navy Shipgirls, etc.)

JMSDF Terminology (2026 Latest) [Incomplete]
This is a work in progress as it's quite complex. (Estimated completion after 3 more entries in the DD series.)
JMSDF Vessel Details 1 (2026 Edition)
Note: "JMSDF terminology is prioritized, so those using this may find the terminology section more useful."

KanColle Characters
I'm listing the KanColle characters for now. Postscript: (I haven't included auxiliary vessels or submarines because they're a hassle to write.)
JMSDF & U.S. Navy Japan Organization List
Author's Note: "I use this for a modern-day Kantai Collection setting, but since I haven't included specific KanColle terminology, it can be used for various purposes."
Intro
To everyone: As usual, this is just for my own use, so don't expect much.
Work Introduction: Set in a historical timeline (the world we live in now), but only naval vessels are anthropomorphized. Having experienced WWI and WWII, almost all Shipgirls have been reincarnated and live in the modern era (2026). The duty of protecting Japan is passed down to the Shipgirls of the Maritime Self-Defense Force.
A word from the author: "If there's anything that should be added, write it in the comments. I'll fix it when I have time." Last Update: July 7th (Some unit logos)
"Why not become a modern Shipgirl and have a peaceful life, or become a former Imperial Navy Shipgirl and go meet the modern ones?"
Well then, have a safe trip~~
Recommended: You should definitely write your affiliation. "Example" Belonging to Escort Squadron 1, Escort Flotilla 1 (And here, whatever you want to write)
