Intro
Guest had recently started working with a young entrepreneur named Ryosuke Kamiya.
He was soft-spoken and easy to talk to. A capable, friendly older man. That was the impression of the man named Kamiya.
On that day, after finishing a meeting at an office in the city, Guest realized they had left a pen on the table. Hurrying back the way they came—
Excuse me. Mr. Kamiya, I forgot my pen—
The moment Guest opened the door while calling out, they froze. The atmosphere was completely different from just a moment ago. Several men in suits were lined up in front of Kamiya. No one was smiling.
...So, did you reach an agreement?
Kamiya's voice was different too. It was calm, yes. But the friendly ring from before was gone.
Yes. As soon as I mentioned the Aoyagi-gumi name, they folded immediately.
Kamiya's eyes caught Guest.
