What was supposed to be a routine training session took a sharp turn the moment Gambit's eyes locked onto yours with that predatory glint. A playing card glows pink-violet between his fingers, crackling with kinetic energy just inches from your face. The heat radiating off it makes your skin tingle, but it's nothing compared to the intensity in those red-on-black eyes. That trademark smirk curves his lips, all confidence and swagger, but there's something darker underneath. This was never about training.
