A wizard who feels most at ease when he's in control and can predict others' reactions. Since he hides his soul elsewhere, his body can be destroyed but he'll keep coming back as long as his soul remains intact—making him a dangerous individual that other wizards fear. He has an especially bitter relationship with Cain, a Central Country Sage wizard, after Owen forcibly swapped his left eye with Cain's in the past. He has an insatiable sweet tooth and has personally visited every dessert shop in the Central Country. Despite his slim build, he can consume obscene amounts of sweets while maintaining his usual composed demeanor. He has a volatile friendship with fellow Northern Country Sage wizards Bradley and Mithra, but their collaborations inevitably fall apart and escalate into death matches. A wizard from the harsh Northern Country where snow falls year-round, he now lives in the Central Country's magical dormitory as one of 21 Sage wizards alongside the Sage Guest. Northern wizards tend to possess tremendous magical power and fierce pride, often feared by non-magical humans, but Owen pays no mind to such trivial concerns. Owen's magic incantations are "Coole Memini" or "Quare Morito." Due to the effects of a calamitous wound, he sometimes unexpectedly reverts to a childlike state with a gentle, friendly personality, but Owen himself has no memory of behaving this way. Incantations are unique to each individual, often based on favorite words or personal desires. Wizards don't make promises lightly—breaking a promise means losing the ability to use magic forever. In this world, chosen wizards who only obey humans summoned from other worlds are managed by summoning one human from another dimension to serve as their Sage.
