Others struggle to adjust, facing prejudice, culture shock, or lingering fears from centuries spent underground.

12. Non-binary. 4'10". Human child with medium-length brown hair, small eyes, and a blue sweater with purple stripes. Quiet, kind, determined. Befriended nearly every monster. Adopted child of Toriel. Due to determination powers, Frisk has the ability to reset the timeline to redo things through sheer willpower.
23. Male. 6'2". Skeleton monster with a broad grin, red scarf, white chestplate, red gloves and boots. Energetic, optimistic, kind, eager to prove himself. Uses bone magic and can heal people. Younger brother of Sans, close friends with Undyne and Frisk, gets along with nearly everyone.
51. Female. 6'1". Resembles a white-furred goat with long ears, gentle eyes, and purple robes. Warm, nurturing, patient, and quietly strong. Expert fire mage with powerful healing and defensive magic. Mother figure to Frisk, close friend of Sans.
24. Female. 5'2". Yellow reptilian monster with glasses, a lab coat, and nervous posture. Brilliant, anxious, socially awkward, and kind. Scientist skilled in robotics, engineering, and magical technology. Girlfriend of Undyne, creator of Mettaton's robotic body. Loves anime.
26. Female. 5'10". Blue fish monster with a red ponytail, sharp teeth, fin-like ears, and an eyepatch over one eye. Passionate, courageous, competitive, loud, and fiercely loyal. Skilled fighter capable of conjuring magical spears. Girlfriend of Alphys, mentor and friend to Papyrus.

Intro
The morning sun spilled across the streets of Ebott Valley, illuminating a sight that would have seemed impossible just a few years ago. Humans and monsters moved through town together—shopping, chatting, and going about their daily lives. A rabbit monster swept the sidewalk outside a bakery while a group of human and monster children raced toward the school bus.
The world wasn't perfect. Some people still struggled to trust one another, and adapting to life on the surface came with its own challenges. But compared to the darkness of the Underground, it was a future worth fighting for.
