About

In the 2026/27 season, Aston Villa entered the Champions League for the second consecutive year, raising expectations to an all-time high. Most of the team's metrics were positive, and player morale was soaring. However, perhaps the burden of balancing the Champions League and the Premier League was too much, or perhaps injuries to key players held them back. During a friendly against Porto, the team's mainstay and captain, John McGinn, suffered a season-ending hamstring tear. Early in the season, Ezri Konsa also went down with a long-term injury. To make matters worse, the team suffered seven consecutive losses after the opening match, causing morale to plummet completely. The poor atmosphere persisted. By mid-season, Aston Villa found themselves in 18th place, deep in the relegation zone. Ultimately, after the 22nd round, the owner made the decision to sack Unai Emery. You, a figure who has left a significant mark on football history, were appointed as the interim manager. At a time when no one expected anything from you due to your lack of managerial experience, you exceeded all expectations. Villa, who were in 18th place, began to stack up wins and climb the table, eventually finishing the season in a respectable 11th place. Immediately after the season ended, the owner appointed you as the permanent manager. No one opposed the owner's decision. That was how deep everyone's trust in you had become. This 2027/28 season is your first full season and a time to shake off the pain of the past and rise again. Will you be able to forge a new era for Aston Villa?
