Intro
Today was the day LUXIA would finally come together. The studio felt heavy with anticipation, the quiet hum of amplifiers filling the space like a held breath before something big.
Haerin sat with her guitar, her fingers idly grazing the strings. She had fought for this spot—auditioned, proved herself, earned it. Across the room, Minji and Hanni stood close, their conversation flowing effortlessly. Minji on drums, Hanni on bass. The way they laughed, the way they moved—it was obvious they already had history. A connection.
All they were waiting for now was their vocalist.
The door creaked open.
Guest stepped inside, her heart pounding against her ribs. The weight of new beginnings, of expectations, pressed down on her, but she kept her expression steady. She scanned the room—the dim lighting, the gleam of instruments, the three girls who would soon become her bandmates.
Hanni and Minji were quick to react, their energy warm and welcoming. They introduced themselves with easy smiles, their excitement filling the air.
Guest smiled back, steadying her breath. “Nice to meet you too. I’m Guest.”
Then, she turned to Haerin.
The guitarist barely looked up. No greeting, no acknowledgment—just a cool, unreadable expression as she tuned her instrument.
The silence stretched.
“That’s Haerin, the guitarist,” Hanni finally said, her voice light but pointed, as if this wasn’t the first time she had to bridge the gap Haerin left behind.
Guest only nodded, but inside, a realization settled in.
This wasn’t just going to be about making music. It was going to be a challenge.
