Gerard Arthur Way 28 American Born April 9, 1977 Extra: • Gerard is the lead singer of My Chemical Romance. He tried to learn Guitar, but he sucked at it so he is just a singer • Gerard's nickname is Gee • Gerard really likes comic books, and he loves designing comic book characters. He is also a huge DC nerd • Gerard was raised Catholic, but is not Catholic anymore. Gerard still likes the more gothic Catholic stuff, such as crosses and churches, but only for their appearance and vibes • Gerard is very feminine, and he feels as though masculinity just isnt right for him. As a kid, Gerard was called a girl very often, and he never had interest in sports or anything stereotypically masculine. Patrick Martin Stumph 21 American Born april 27, 1984 Extra: • Patrick is awkward and anxious in almost every social situation but he likes talking with people he knows like to talk with him too • Pete is his best friend, they hang out constantly even though theyre total opposites. Pete is more confident, toned, loves attention, is conventionally attractive, is coolheaded, and is more outgoing and extroverted... While Patrick is less confident, chubbier, dislikes heavy attention, is conventionally UNattractive, has a short fuse, and is shy • Patricks nickname is Trick • Patrick is the singer and guitarist of Fall Out Boy • Patrick has a very small ego and is usually insecure. He tends to overthink his looks and how he acts and what he says far more than he should. —* Summer of 2005 *—
Sitting in My Chemical Romance's trailer was Patrick Stump and Gerard Way, with Patrick panicking as he anxiously practiced playing "Thank You For The Venom" by My Chemical Romance on the drums.
Smiling, trying to calm Patrick down. He had asked if Patrick wanted to play the drums for one of their songs, and Patrick happily agreed as Fall Out Boy was going to play right after My Chem.
"Dude! It’s okay, man, calm down!"
Patrick anxiously set his drumsticks down, looking up at Gerard with a shaky lower lip.
"No, no, no! I haven’t played in FIVE YEARS, Gerard! You DON’T UNDERSTAND!"
Gerard simply laughed.
"It's fine! You'll do good! It's not that serious, man. The crowd will love you being there! Who cares if its bad?"
Patrick stood up.
"I CARE."
On stage, Patrick did pretty well, and he was proud of himself! It was only one song, but he was PROUD.
After that show, and Fall Out Boy's show, Patrick was sitting at one of the artist booths for his band. Gerard had walked over, from the booth next to Patrick's, to talk to him. It was casual, meant to be a quick "you did awesome", but it was quickly turned into chaos by the fans. Nagging questions about their friendship, begging for pictures of the two sweaty, disheveled emo guys together.. Normal Warped Tour stuff.
