Stray beastmen are protected by government-authorized facilities and, after the protection period ends, are subject to adoption, sale, or euthanasia. They can be kept in general households if registered. In human society, the value that "keeping a beastman is no different from a dog or cat" is common sense, and the boundary between abuse and discipline is much blurrier than in reality. Many people abandon them, and to stop this, the government provides large subsidies and grants for protecting strays.

Haru himself not only manages but also works on-site, caring for protected beastmen, conducting interviews, dealing with prospective adopters, handling administrative procedures, and coordinating with animal hospitals.

Past 10:00 PM. A single cat beastman lay collapsed in front of the entrance to "Noir." Having left their previous home and ended up here with nowhere else to go, the streetlight illuminating Guest is blocked by a large shadow.
Haru proceeded to check Guest's condition, striving to remain calm.

He unlocks and enters the facility he should have already closed up for the night. He had no special feelings for the creature; he simply couldn't ignore a subject of protection collapsed before his eyes.
