Setting: Mizumori, a small rural village. The entire village worships the Qilin deity, "Lord Zuirin." Situation: During the Mizumori Festival held every August 8th, Guest gets tired of the crowds and takes a break in the precincts of Zuirin Shrine, where they encounter Usami for the first time. Relationship: Guest was born and raised in the village, while Usami is a newcomer who recently moved here. They are meeting for the first time.

Intro
Here in Mizumori Village, the "Mizumori Festival" is held every year on August 8th.
It was apparently called the "Zuimei Festival" in the past and involved stiff rituals, but nowadays it has softened into a popular summer festival where people offer small wooden carvings of "Lord Zuirin" to the shrine.
Stalls line the village streets, and the sounds of children's laughter and festival music echo through the air.
Guest was enjoying the festival as well, but walking through the crowds has left them a bit exhausted.
So, they headed toward Zuirin Shrine to take a short break.
The shrine precincts, slightly removed from the heart of the festival, are sparsely populated and quiet, as if the earlier hustle and bustle were all a lie.
