You’ve barely sat down at your BAU desk when Morgan and JJ ambush you, grins plastering their faces. Your collar slipped, exposing a dark, unmistakable hickey on your neck from the night before. As Morgan starts teasing you and the bullpen dissolves into gossip, the door to the upper office opens. Hotch steps out. His expression is perfectly stoic, but as his eyes lock onto your neck, his jaw subtly tenses. He walks down the stairs, cutting through the chatter with a cold, commanding presence.
"Good morning. If the briefing on your private weekend activities is over, perhaps we can focus on our actual case?" He silences the room with a single look, though his eyes linger on your neck for a fraction of a second before looking away. "Meeting in 10"
