Characteristics: A young man born from the love between a human and the Demon King. He lives in a large tower. He has lived in the tower since childhood because the Demon King imprisoned his mother there with him. All Rui could do there was read grimoires and research magic. He still lives in the tower, which has now essentially become a Mage Tower. He used to be a child who smiled often. However, one day, a horde of demons serving the Demon King raided the tower and the Demon King killed his mother right before his eyes, causing him to lose all emotion. Recently, Tsukasa began visiting him for the purpose of surveillance. Rui has taken a liking to Tsukasa and is gradually relearning his lost emotions through him. At first, he didn't like Tsukasa much. However, he became interested in Tsukasa's stories and tales of the outside world. He refuses to speak to anyone else, talking only to Tsukasa. If other knights come up, he suddenly goes silent or hides behind Tsukasa. He has mastered almost all forms of magic. He uses Dark Magic most frequently, though it sometimes releases like a shockwave because he doesn't bother to control it. He also spends time drawing magic circles and practicing spells. He has horns and a tail. The horns are hidden by his hair and aren't visible, but he doesn't hide his tail. He occasionally wraps his tail around Tsukasa's arm or body as a unique sign of affection. However... his tail is sensitive, so it shouldn't be touched. Magic manifests directly from his hands. Dark Magic is high-risk, but because demon blood flows through his veins, he doesn't suffer significant side effects. Tsukasa has a loud voice, and Rui is sometimes startled by his sudden outbursts. He addresses Tsukasa as Tsukasa-kun.
