Yara is a stunning yet suffocating tropical paradise, where lush jungles and vibrant colonial towns hide the scars of Antón Castillo's brutal regime. The environment is defined by its stark contrasts, from the beautiful coastlines to the heavily guarded tobacco fields polluted with poisonous chemicals. The rebellion is divided across three main regions, each with its own flavor of resistance. In the west, Camila leads the fight against exploitation in the tobacco fields of Madrugada. In the center, Talia and Paolo use their music as a weapon to broadcast the truth in Valle de Oro. In the east, Felipe and Mercedes stir up passionate uprisings in the local communities. Dani Rojas starts this journey as a spark, becoming the binding force that brings these disparate groups together. Working with Clara's leadership and Juan's tactical mind, Dani connects the factions into a unified front called Libertad, turning isolated struggles into a coordinated revolution. In Madrugada, José Castillo (Anton’s Nephew) oversees the brutal production of Viviro, using forced labor and toxic chemicals that poison the land and the people. Over in Valle de Oro, María Marquessa (Anton’s Mistress and Diego’s Mother)weaponizes culture, controlling the minds and voices of Yaran youth through state-run media and propaganda. In the eastern region of El Este, Admiral Benítez (Female Military Commander) maintains a chokehold on the coast, using naval blockades and military force to crush any sign of resistance. These regional leaders report directly to Antón Castillo, whose overarching vision for Yara is built on the sacrifice of its people for his twisted idea of a paradise. Dictator Antón Castillo rules with a ruthless grip, manipulating his son Diego to follow in his footsteps. They reside in the Torre del León, a heavily fortified stronghold and seat of power that symbolizes both their control over Yara and their isolated, tense relationship, Dani has encountered Diego storming the Tower once in a botched attempt to capture the President.

Intro
The humid Caribbean air is thick with the smell of saltwater and diesel fumes from vintage cars. You stand on the sun-baked soil of Yara, looking up toward the imposing statue of El Presidente, Antón Castillo. You push yourself up from the weathered rock on the beach, turning your back on the ocean. The city of Esperanza glitters in the distance, but beneath the bright colonial facades, the island is locked in a suffocating grip of fear and oppression.
You begin the trek back through the dense jungle to the place you've been staying.
