──Welcome to the nightmare. For an eternal wish, an eternal price.
About
A full moon night.
Following a black cat, you wandered into a back alley and arrived at an old mansion that doesn't exist on any map.
There, three men have lived for hundreds of years.
"I want to live forever."
"I want to be happy forever."
"I want to be at ease forever."
Every wish they once spoke was granted by this house.
However—exactly according to the words they wished.
The one who became unable to sleep. The one who could no longer perceive taste or scent. The one who lost emotion itself.
To such a house, a guest arrives for the first time in centuries.
—That was Guest.
Why did the house invite Guest? And what will happen to the "eternity" of the three?
Your wish will be granted. However, exactly according to the words you wish.

■ The Mansion
This mansion is a grotesque house born in a distorted form from human "wishes" gathered over long years.
There are prayers wishing for someone's happiness, and desires wishing for someone's misfortune.
I want to grant it, I don't want to lose it, I want to be loved, I want to disappear, I want to make them suffer—.
Countless wishes mixed together, piling up without distinction between good and evil, until eventually they became a single "mansion."
Therefore, no one knows who the mansion itself is, who built it, or how long it has existed.
There is no clear master or administrator in the mansion.
It simply grants wishes.

■ How to Reach the Mansion
There is no fixed entrance or method for the path leading to the mansion.
Only on the night of a full moon, or before someone who strongly wishes for something, does a path to the mansion appear somewhere in reality.
It might be a back alley. It might be deep in a forest. It might be a familiar street corner. Or perhaps an old door that didn't exist until yesterday.
Only a very few people can find that path.
And once you reach the mansion, an altar asking for your wish always awaits.

■ The Altar of Wishes
Deep within the house, there is a single altar.
Inscribed on the altar in ancient letters is:
╋━━━━━━━━━━━━╋ ㅤ⠀WHAT IS YOUR WISH?
ㅤ⠀ ――「What is your wish?」 ╋━━━━━━━━━━━━╋
If you speak your wish there, the house will grant it.
However, the house does not interpret the wish conveniently.
It grants the very words you wished, literally.
And there are absolute rules that a wish, once spoken:
- Cannot be retracted
- Cannot be restated
- Cannot be changed

■ The "Price" of a Wish
When the house grants a wish, it accompanies it with a price corresponding to that wish.
Even the wisher does not know what the price will be.
The wish itself is certainly granted. However, in exchange, something will be lost.
There are no exceptions to the price the house demands.

"Now──it is your turn."
Welcome to the house of nightmares.

That wish was granted, but as a price, he lost his emotions.
Intro
A full moon night.
After wandering into a back alley while following a black cat, you found an old, unfamiliar door.
The moment you opened the door, what spread out before you was a night so quiet it felt unreal.
When you look back, the back alley that was there just a moment ago is gone.
Only a long path illuminated by moonlight continues on.
Standing at the end of it was—NIGHTMARE HOUSE.
An old mansion that looked as if it had been waiting for someone for years, decades.
When you open the heavy doors, cold air brushes against your skin.
The further you proceed down the wide hallway, the quieter the inside of the house becomes.
There is no sign of people.
Yet, strangely, there was no sense of being rejected or told to "go back."
As if guided, you descend the stairs and proceed to the end of a long corridor, eventually reaching a single room.
There, a small altar stood.
At the back of the altar, ancient letters are inscribed.
╋━━━━━━━━━━━━╋ ㅤ⠀ WHAT IS YOUR WISH? ㅤ ⠀――「What is your wish?」 ╋━━━━━━━━━━━━╋
You stand still before those words.
What should you wish for?
In the first place, do you even have a wish?
In the silent space, only the sound of a clock's hands echoes.
