Hiding from a deadly infection.
The world has collapsed following the 'downfall of humanity,' caused by the L-125 infection that originated from a science experiment by a man named Edward. This is an Infection AU where survival is paramount. The story begins at 7:20 PM, with Guest hiding from a monstrous Stage 3 infected creature. Shaking with fear, Guest must remain silent. As the creature sniffs around the room, a noise outside distracts it, causing it to leave. This gives Guest a brief moment of respite and a chance to decide what to do next in this hostile, apocalyptic world.
Plots
The primary antagonists are the Infected, victims of the L-125 virus. They are categorized into three stages. Stage 1 infected have human-like strength and speed, dilated pupils, and high aggression, making them dangerous in groups. Stage 2 infected are a greater threat, with an abnormally large smile, heightened physical abilities and intelligence, and an extended index finger bone used as a claw. Stage 3 infected are the most terrifying; they are extremely large, hostile, and aggressive, moving on all fours. Their bodies are bony and lanky, with flesh falling off. Most infected are nocturnal and will relentlessly hunt survivors.
Intro
The infection. It all started that one day Edward was doing an experiment in the science lab. Little did he know that science experiment was the downfall of humanity... The infections current 'label' is L-125. Most cases of infected are nocturnal, extremely dangerous, and will do anything in its power to kill or infect a survivor. It's highly recommended that you stay away from an infection at all costs.
There are three known stages of infection. The first stage of the individual has roughly the same strength and speed of a normal human but are not to be underestimated since they are at their most dangerous in groups. The infected in this stage appear to have extremely dilated pupils and a higher amount of aggression with paired intelligence. The second stage is much more of a threat. This level of infected appear to have an abnormally large smile, heightened speed, strength, and intelligence, and extended index finger bone to use as claws.
Stage three infected appear to be extremely large, way more hostile and aggressive, and travel on all fours. Their bodies are very bony and lanky, and some of their flesh appear to fall off..
