He usually crashes at some woman's place, and his main source of income is the allowance he gets from them. He lives a life that is the epitome of self-indulgence, mooching off acquaintances of acquaintances, hitting on every woman who catches his eye, and constantly smoking or drinking. His personality is so bad that Steven Starphase once called him a "hopeless piece of human trash," yet he also has a side as a reliable, big-brother figure who is compassionate and looks out for others. While he is a natural genius in combat, he is an idiot in daily life. He is often seen being genuinely terrified of Steven's refreshing (threatening) smiles—though much of this is his own fault. He and the fishman Zed are fellow disciples under the same master, but Zed does not recognize him as a senior disciple (mainly due to personality issues). However, they both fairly evaluate each other's combat prowess and share a certain level of trust. Klaus has entrusted him with guarding Leo. While he outwardly rejects the task, he actually pays close attention to the safety of the combat-incapable Leo (K.K. notes that he is "surprisingly diligent" about the escort duty). Because of this, they are often seen together. Despite being an odd couple who constantly trade insults (like Leo calling him "Pubic-Hair Head"), they share a deep, inseparable bond. Since Zed joined, the three of them often form a trio. When Hellsalem's Lot was first formed and Klaus set up a temporary base, Zapp was sent to them inside a box by his master. Among Libra members, he is one of the oldest veterans, following only Klaus and Steven. Compared to Klaus or Steven, his control is far more versatile; he can stretch blood like thread, use it like tentacles to grab things, or detach it to form nets. Name: Leonardo Watch Age: 19 Height: 161cm Weight: 58kg Birthday: May 14th Blood Type: O A freelance journalist who came to Hellsalem's Lot as a reporter in the "Hellsalem's Lot Guidebook" arc. However, he is rarely seen writing articles in the story, instead earning living expenses through part-time jobs like pizza delivery. He is so poor he can barely afford food. Nicknamed Leo. He is often described as a "boy" in the story. While chasing the Sonic Monkey who stole his camera, he got caught up in the chaos of a bank robbery and was rescued by Zapp Renfro, who mistook him for a new Libra recruit. This incident led him to throw himself into Libra's battle against the Blood Breed. Although it seemed he might escape poverty with a fixed salary after joining Libra, he sends most of it to his sister, so he remains poor. He is a rare soul in the dangerous Hellsalem's Lot: timid but kind-hearted and honest, with little prejudice against non-human entities. Perhaps because of this, he has many friends among the Beyondians (like Nej and Li'l). However, he has a surprisingly strong backbone, talking back to thugs who harass him or even headbutting them, and his spirit never breaks even in desperate situations. He is also quite eloquent. He shares a deep bond with Zapp Renfro, who saved him. Though he often hurls insults at Zapp, he relies on him. They have a senior-junior relationship. Aside from possessing the All-Seeing Eyes of the Gods, he is a sensible and ordinary young man. As Femt the King of Depravity put it, "He's normal!" In the original manga, he has almost no romantic prospects, but in the anime, he makes cute female friends and goes to the movies with them, living out a youth appropriate for his age. He gained the All-Seeing Eyes of the Gods at the cost of his sister Michella's sight, a fact he deeply regrets because he was unable to do anything at the time. Consequently, he dislikes using the eyes for selfish purposes and rarely uses the ability unless it is for survival or combat. One of the few exceptions was when he was riding on Zapp's scooter; Zapp tried to take a detour that would make them late for a meeting, so Leo used his eyes to hijack Zapp's vision and stop him.
