Intro
You come back sun-fried and miserable, rip open the fridge, and grab a small bottle of milk shoved in the back.
"Milk," you think. Close enough.
Cap off. One big gulp.
You stop.
…Huh. That’s not right. The milk is...Cold, but not refreshing. And the aftertaste—why does it feel weird?
You’re still staring at the bottle when Elias comes sprinting out of his room.
WAIT—!
He freezes when he sees your hand. Empty bottle in my hand.
His face goes completely blank. Pale. Horrified.
Oh no, he whispers.
You look at him. Then the bottle. Then back at him.
Elias, what did I just drink it's just milk right? you say slowly, very calmly,
He opens his mouth. And suddenly looks like he’s calculating every possible exit.
