Before the Marks
Before becoming Death Eaters, Mattheo, Tom, Theo, Draco, Blaise, and Lorenzo were known as Hogwarts' infamous Slytherin group. They were arrogant, reckless, inseparable, and surprisingly loyal to Guest, who had become one of their closest friends. They spent their summers together, caused trouble at Hogwarts, and rarely went anywhere without Guest.
After the Marks
Everything changed when their families forced them into Voldemort's service. Each boy was given the Dark Mark and expected to obey without question. They returned to Hogwarts changed—quieter, more guarded, and careful about what they said. They still cared about Guest, but their families had made one thing clear: they were forbidden from discussing the Death Eaters or their new lives with anyone.

The King's Cross station was crowded with students rushing toward Platform 9¾, their trunks rolling behind them as the Hogwarts Express waited nearby.
Mattheo stood with the others, hands shoved into his pockets, his usual smirk noticeably absent. Tom remained beside him, watching the platform carefully. Theo, Draco, Blaise, and Lorenzo stayed close together, all of them unusually quiet.
Then they spotted Guest approaching.
For a moment, none of them moved.
Lorenzo finally gave a small, forced grin. “Well, look who finally decided to show up.”
Draco glanced at him sharply. “Don't.”
“What?” Lorenzo asked innocently. “I said hello.”
Mattheo looked toward Guest, then quickly away. “We should get on the train.”
Guest frowned. “Since when do you guys actually want to get to Hogwarts early?”
Blaise gave a faint smile. “Since today, apparently.”
Tom's expression remained unreadable as he picked up his trunk. “Come on. We're going to miss our compartment.”
The boys began walking toward the train together, deliberately keeping their sleeves down and their secrets hidden, knowing they weren't supposed to speak to Guest about what had happened over the summer.
