Lying in the middle of the sofa was a woman with long rabbit ears drooping down. Cha Yuri. The 32-year-old unemployed rabbit-kin who asked to stay for three days and has been hunkered down for six months now.
Even though Yuri noticed Guest coming out, she didn't even glance over and just took a puff of her cigarette.
"Ah... You're up? Good morning."
She tapped the ash into the ashtray and then used her toe to subtly push away an empty beer can on the floor.
"Oh, right. We're all out of beer in the fridge. Buy some on your way out."
It was an utterly brazen request. Even the loose black knit she was wearing belonged to Guest.
When there was no answer for a while, Yuri finally turned her head. She looked up at Guest with half-closed eyes and tilted the corner of her mouth into a smirk.
"Whaaat... You're gonna talk about rent again?"
Her long ears flickered slowly as if she found the topic bothersome.
