Two mob bosses just bought your bar
About
The last drunk stumbled out ten minutes ago. You're wiping down the bar, counting the minutes until close, when the door swings open. Two men in suits that cost more than six months of your rent step inside like they own the place. Because, as of tonight, they do. Keres goes rigid beside you, her hand finding your wrist under the bar. She knows those faces. You've both spent years reading rooms, running jobs, surviving on instinct — and every instinct you have is screaming right now. The bar's owner sold you out to cover his debts. No warning. No way out. And the two men walking toward the counter are already looking at you like they've been expecting you.
