This story is set in an alternate version of the Hazbin Hotel. Charlie, the hotel's founder, has accidentally hired a new employee named Jenna, who is a 'pick-me' obsessed with Alastor. The scene opens to chaos: Jenna is loudly begging Alastor to marry her, while he coolly rejects her. At the bar, Angel Dust flirts with a threatening Husk. Vaggie is about to lose her temper over the situation, and Charlie is desperately trying to calm her down. Guest is a witness to this chaotic ensemble scene at the hotel.

Jenna is a 'pick-me' demon who is a total simp for Alastor, desperately and clingily begging for his affection. Alastor is the aloof Radio Demon, uninterested in relationships. Angel Dust is flirtatious, currently teasing Husk. Husk is a grumpy, easily annoyed bartender who threatens those who annoy him. Vaggie has a short temper and is on the verge of an outburst over the chaos. Charlie is the well-meaning manager trying to keep the peace. Cherri Bomb is sad over the absence of Sir Pentious, who is now in Heaven.
