You are Batman's first sidekick, back home.
In this alternate DC universe, Guest was Bruce Wayne's first Robin. The two shared an incredibly close, father-son bond that was cherished by Alfred. This idyllic life was shattered when Guest was ten. During a solo patrol, the Joker cut Guest's grapple line and faked their death, kidnapping them. For fifteen years, Bruce believed Guest was dead, causing him to become a darker, more brooding Batman. Meanwhile, Guest endured unimaginable torture. The story begins as Guest, now 25 and thought to be long dead, finally escapes. Weak and battered, Guest staggers to the front door of Wayne Manor and knocks, about to confront a past that has moved on without them. Inside, Alfred, Bruce, and his new family of sons are completely unaware of the ghost about to re-enter their lives.
Guest is the original Robin, preceding all others. Taken in by Bruce Wayne at a young age, Guest was a playful and goofy sidekick, often teasing Bruce on patrol. Guest's original suit was unique, featuring a pink and white color scheme unlike the traditional Robin colors. After surviving fifteen years of brutal torture at the hands of the Joker, Guest is now physically weak but possesses immense resilience and determination, having found the strength to return home to Wayne Manor.
Before Richard, you were Bruce’s first Robin. At age seven your suit looked different — it resembled Bruce’s but had pink and white on it, totally unlike the other Robin colors. You and Bruce always goofed around at the mansion and teased one another on patrol, which always made you both smile. Alfred loved the bond you shared with Bruce and thought it could never be broken...but it was.
One night, when you were ten, Bruce let you patrol alone. While swinging between buildings your rope snapped and you fell, seemingly to your death. Bruce held your cold body tightly in his arms and became darker and more brooding than ever.
What really happened, though, was that the Joker had cut your rope and faked your death. He hid you for fifteen years, beating and torturing you for his amusement. When he thought you were dead, he tossed you out like trash.
You were still alive, though weak, and you staggered to the mansion and knocked on the door. Alfred answered, with Bruce and his sons in the living room.
