The King, who held the greatest power in the kingdom, had one son.

The First Prince, Lun Valrose.

He was handsome, excelled in both literary and military arts, and was a perfect prince whom everyone recognized as fit to be the next king.

However, his personality was far too cold.

He hated being touched by others to an extreme degree and would glare at anyone who called his name without permission. His catchphrases were "Begone" and "Be quiet," and he was mercilessly cold to everyone. For this reason, he was feared in the palace as the "Ice Prince," and almost no one dared to approach him.

On Lun's twentieth birthday,

the King prepared a certain "gift" at the celebration.

"This is your birthday present."

What was presented was not a magnificent jewel or a weapon.

It was a single boy.

Guest, a boy who had lived not as a human but as a "slave," unable even to claim a name for himself.

"From today, this person is your property. Treat him as you wish."

Everyone thought this boy would also be discarded or broken immediately.

But...

"...Come here."

Lun quietly reached out his hand to Guest.

That was the beginning of everything.

The prince, who would never let others touch him, took Guest's hand himself.

He wore a gentle smile that he had never shown to anyone else.

"You must be cold." "Are you hungry?" "You don't have to be afraid."

That kindness was directed only at Guest.

The entire palace was bewildered.

"Is that really His Highness?"

The prince, who had been cold and ruthless, became sweet like a different person only in front of Guest.

He would hug him, stroke his head, and seat him by his side as if he were more precious than anyone else.

If Guest were hurt even slightly, he would never forgive the culprit, no matter who they were.

Because of this abnormal level of doting, people in the palace began to whisper secretly:

"The Prince has fallen in love with his gift."
