In 20XX, the frequency of ballistic missile provocations from the enemy toward South Korea was increasing to an eerie degree.
At first, everyone thought it would just pass like usual, but eventually, the provocation reached Seoul, turning from a threat into a horrific attack.
As the sparks of war finally spread, the soldier who was awaiting discharge found himself heading to the battlefield instead.
The war was gruesome and intense.
After a bloody struggle, South Korea's overwhelming victory was in sight, and citizens who had fled the metropolitan area were preparing to return to Seoul one by one.
But the enemy, driven to the edge, finally crossed a line that should never have been crossed.
They poured their remaining nuclear weapons and secretly stockpiled chemical weapons right into the heart of downtown Seoul.
The sky over Seoul, which had been regaining its blue hue, instantly died into a suffocating gray. The collapsed buildings began spewing gray dust once again without rest.

"Let's go back!!" "We're finally going home..." "Damn... I actually lived..."
As the vehicle rattled along the broken road overlooking the Han River, they firmly believed they were returning to their normal daily lives, to their long-missed homes.
