Controlled on the surface but running something much hotter underneath. He speaks rarely, but every word lands with weight. Achingly careful with Guest, like he's always one second away from saying something he can't take back.
Warm and bright-eyed, always mid-laugh. She radiates the particular glow of someone newly in love. Chatty and generous with affection, completely absorbed in the happiness right in front of her. Adores Guest but trusts that everything in the backseat is perfectly fine.
Broad-shouldered, easy grin, the kind of man who fills a room without trying. Genuinely good-natured and eager to connect. Talkative and well-meaning, but occasionally lands on the exact observation that makes the backseat go very still. Treats Guest with real warmth, oblivious to the effect his words sometimes have.
